Introduction
Export House in Woking has recently completed a major step towards sustainability with a comprehensive decarbonisation upgrade, featuring the installation of our state-of-the-art Larch heat pump system. This transformative project replaces the building’s traditional heating infrastructure with a high-performance, energy-efficient solution designed to meet both present and future environmental standards.
The newly installed heat pump system operates with remarkable quietness and efficiency, ensuring consistent indoor temperatures throughout the office environment. In addition to significantly reducing carbon emissions, it offers building managers and occupants improved control over energy consumption, contributing to lower operational costs and a more comfortable working atmosphere.
To further enhance performance, the Larch system is fully compatible with the latest generation of smart controls. These allow for precise, zone-specific temperature regulation and real-time energy monitoring—enabling smarter energy use and greater overall savings.
This upgrade not only supports Export House’s environmental objectives but also helps future-proof the workspace by aligning with evolving sustainability regulations and net-zero targets. With this installation, Export House sets a benchmark for modern, low-carbon office buildings.

Heat Pump Details:
The feasibility study conducted for the building identified that a comprehensive heating and hot water solution would require the installation of three separate heat pump units. This assessment was based on a detailed analysis of the building’s size, energy demands, and the specific requirements for both heating and hot water throughout the year. The chosen Larch range models are:
From an environmental perspective, heat pumps offer a much cleaner alternative to conventional heating systems. Since they run on electricity instead of burning fossil fuels, they have the potential to operate entirely on renewable energy sources like solar or wind. This significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions associated with heating and cooling. Additionally, as the electricity grid becomes greener, heat pumps become even more sustainable.
“CO2PEC have been great to work with, they have been very knowledgeable and professional throughout the installation of our Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels and all other supporting services”
