F.A.Q.

Please see the below frequently asked questions about our feasibility study services.

A feasibility study helps identify any challenges or risks before committing to a decarbonisation project, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated and that the project has a strong chance of reducing your buildings carbon footprint.

A typical feasibility study includes technical assessments, financial analysis, market research, regulatory compliance review, u values and environmental impact evaluations.

The duration depends on the complexity of the project. It can range from a few weeks to several months, depending on the amount of research and analysis required.

We encourage clients to embrace the change before regulations force the change.  We believe heat pumps are the way forward, a view shared by the government with its commitment to Net Zero.

A heat pump transfers heat from one place to another using electricity, providing both heating and cooling. It works by extracting heat from the air, ground, or water, and using it to warm your space.

A feasibility study, including an assessment of your building’s energy needs, insulation, and existing heating system, will help determine if a heat pump is suitable.

Heat pumps are highly efficient, often producing 3-4 times more energy than they consume. Their efficiency depends on factors like outside temperature and the heat source used.

Yes, modern heat pumps are designed to comply with building codes and environmental regulations, especially when using natural refrigerants.

Small units are kept in stock whilst larger heat pumps are built to order and take 16 to 18 weeks.

Achieving a 30C return from a heating and hot water system is necessary for the efficient operation of a CO2 heat pump. This can be achieved in a number of ways, however we recommend using our standard schematic and DESOPS. This centers around using PIC Valves, pressure pump control, plate heat exchangers and correctly sized terminal units.

Standard delivery is by lorry equipped with a hi-ab which will deliver to kerbside ground level. Alternative arrangements can be arranged made where necessary.
